Set Design

Set design, scenic design, theater design, theatrical design, or stage design is the creation of the physical space in which the action of a performed event occurs. Primarily used to describe a film or theatre production, it constitutes all the scenery, furniture, props, appearance, and overall look of the stage.
Set designing is creating a space with the essence of some particular feeling, illusion, and state of mind that a story requires. An assembled set also represents a specific location for a movie, theatre, or event.
