A weekend retreat designed around the principles of sustainable architecture, with a calming and soothing ambiance. The client wanted a simple, efficient, and low-maintenance home with ample natural light & ventilation. The structure although modern is inspired by the traditional Konkan style architecture. The large sloping roof, interior wooden paneling & Mangalore tiles for sound & heat insulation are all the vernacular hallmarks that find pride of place here. The interiors are minimalistic with visually interconnected open spaces and less furniture.
